NVIDIA unified architecture - Fully unified shader core dynamically allocates processing power to geometry, vertex, physics, or pixel shading operations, delivering up to 2x the gaming performance of prior generation GPUs
GigaThread Technology - Massively multi-threaded architecture supports thousands of independent, simultaneous threads, providing extreme processing efficiency in advanced, next generation shader programs
Full Microsoft DirectX 10 Support - World's first DirectX 10 GPU with full Shader Model 4.0 support delivers unparalleled levels of graphics realism and film-quality effects
NVIDIA Lumenex Engine - Delivers stunning image quality and floating point accuracy at ultra-fast frame rates - 16x Anti-aliasing - Lightning fast, high-quality anti-aliasing at up to 16x sample rates obliterates jagged edges / 128-bit floating point High Dynamic-Range - Twice the precision of prior generations for incredibly realistic lighting effects, with support for anti-aliasing
NVIDIA Quantum Effects Technology - Advanced shader processors enable a new level of physics effects to be simulated and rendered on the GPU while freeing the CPU to run the game engine and AI
Please return your seats to an upright and locked position while ensuring your safety belt is locked... The next generation of GeForce is here. Meet the 8800 GTX. This mercenary little multi-tasker actually provides physics enabled gaming features straight from the GPU and huge bang for your buck when you don't need to buy a physics card. XFX cautions, only he who is willing to tuck his head between his knees and kiss it goodbye will be ready for this one.
Fast and amazingly quiet!

This card is a dream come true. XFX's double lifetime warranty is the best around. After I installed this beast, I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. I mean, whisper quiet! Graphics power without the jet engine noise. I'm in heaven.
Best Card out there

I bought this card some months ago, when the price was $650, was a lot of money but really worth it, i can run games all settings maxed out, even AA and Vsync (i lost some fps but games look better when you do a fast movement). Yea is power hungry, but i bought a thermaltake 850w power supply and problem gone.
About size, that's a real problem with small cases, i have a Thermaltake Shark and the card enter barely, 2cm more and couldnt fix, the card lenght is 28cm. My card with no load is always around 70°c, but some friends with better cases and cooling system manage to keep it around 60°c - 70°c under heavy load, mine goes to 90°c.
All this worth it if you really want to experience some real graphics, SLI could rock alot.
Excelente tarjeta de video

Excellent performance.. too much requirements

This is an excellent product indeed, in terms of performace. Its fast, its great.. but its requirements are too much demanding, with 450 watt as a minimum and 625 watts as recommended isn't the least of your concerns. They require a 12v/30a power supply, and if you find one.. you'll be lucky if it even has PCI-connectors.
Overall, installing it is a pain in the a**, but once that is done.. its great.. if you don't mind the electricity bill.
