| Fast and amazingly quiet! | 2008-02-26 | 5 / 5 |

| This card is a dream come true. XFX's double lifetime warranty is the best around. After I installed this beast, I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. I mean, whisper quiet! Graphics power without the jet engine noise. I'm in heaven. |

I bought this card some months ago, when the price was $650, was a lot of money but really worth it, i can run games all settings maxed out, even AA and Vsync (i lost some fps but games look better when you do a fast movement). Yea is power hungry, but i bought a thermaltake 850w power supply and problem gone.
About size, that's a real problem with small cases, i have a Thermaltake Shark and the card enter barely, 2cm more and couldnt fix, the card lenght is 28cm. My card with no load is always around 70°c, but some friends with better cases and cooling system manage to keep it around 60°c - 70°c under heavy load, mine goes to 90°c.
All this worth it if you really want to experience some real graphics, SLI could rock alot. |

| Excellent performance.. too much requirements | 2007-02-17 | 4 / 5 |

This is an excellent product indeed, in terms of performace. Its fast, its great.. but its requirements are too much demanding, with 450 watt as a minimum and 625 watts as recommended isn't the least of your concerns. They require a 12v/30a power supply, and if you find one.. you'll be lucky if it even has PCI-connectors.
Overall, installing it is a pain in the a**, but once that is done.. its great.. if you don't mind the electricity bill. |
