For Mac this is multifunction minus one...2010-08-122 / 5
I bought this Canon to replace an inkjet multifunction which had high cost ink, and I rarely used color anyway. Works OK with mac as a printer, but there is no way to get a scanning function with Mac OS, and I've spent hours trying. On the good side, it works well as a stand alone fax and as a copy machine, so it is, at least, not completely useless.
Paper feed not working2010-05-191 / 5
This printer never really worked. The paper feed is not working, i.e. it does not pull paper. You have to stand next to it and push the paper in there, even then its a hit and miss. Do not buy
Great Workhorse Printer2010-03-105 / 5
This is a great little machine with a fairlyh small footprint. It is my go-to printer for drafts and works in progress. Final products are printed in color on another machine. It also serves as my fax machine, scanner, and copier.
STOP making copies at the Library!!!!!2010-03-055 / 5
For the price I paid for the MF4150, $150 it is a 5 star printer

Bye bye expensive inkjet refills, I should have gone laser a long time ago. I picked up this printer 1 1/2 yrs ago on BF. I was thrilled the minute I printed from it. My husband was speechless when he scanned to PDF. He almost bought one for work on his own dime so he didn't have to keep getting up and down to walk to the printer. There is no workaround for the network limitation. We connect directly to the printer, can't have everything. Yes, I have had a few jams but very, very few and they clear easily.

If you copy at the library or office store STOP.
BUY this printer or one like it. You wont' regret it.

If you need a Network printer -almost everyone does- get the Canon 4350, whichever version of this Canon printer is available to you

Pros:
- Excellent laser copying and printing (compared instore to to Brother and HP)
- Drivers installed easily on both Win Vista 64 bit and Win XP 32 bit
- Easy to use
- IMHO, No better quality laser printer in this price range on the market
- Lots of copy choies, you can even print 2 pages on one
- Canon technical support but they couldn't make it network print
- Full size toner is long lasting (the one you have to pay $85 for when the bundled on runs out)

Cons:
- Cumbersome on menus on printer typically "Canon" hard to hundrstand
- No network support, huh? Such a high quality printer with faxing, scan to pc and fax, pdf scan etc features but the one feature every home user needs - router support is not on it :=(
- Legal size copying for convenience
- Takes up a lot of desk space

network router support (I think the 4350 is the network printer)
button for ink density right on the printer - I don't want to press the pritner 6x to get to it
Works great--as long as you don't use a Mac2010-01-052 / 5
Canon's support for the Mac OS X platform is horrendous. First, they have NEVER supported scanning on a Mac with this machine. The driver has always been crippled in that respect. Then, it took them 2-3 months to get a crippled Snow Leopard driver out and it *barely* worked. You had to print 1 page at a time and could not duplex print. Then they finally released v2.05 of the driver and printing was OK but you could no longer share the printer out to other computers (either Mac or Windows). They COMPLETELY bungled the Snow Leopard driver. I'm still waiting for a full-featured (I NEED TO SHARE THIS PRINTER!) driver to come out. It shared fine under Leopard but if you install the latest driver under Leopard or Snow Leopard it will not share out. [...]
