My husband is a licensed pilot and loves flying. Recently, because of the costs associated with "real" flying he has started flying flight simulators. He loves Microsoft's Flight Simulator in particular but is somewhat disapointed with the realism. Specifically, he would like to see Microsoft add moving people to the software. The airport depictions in particular seem very baron. Just some people walking around, boarding planes, loading in baggage, you know, the kind of activity that you see around an airport. Any thoughts?

Microsoft Flight Simulator X Deluxe DVD
Over all I like and have enjoyed Flight Simulator X Deluxe very much (4.5). However, FS X has one serious fault that is not on FS 2002 or 2004. When I request a list of my flights I DO NOT get the list in alphabetic by the flight name I gave them. Instead the list is in LAST DATE UPDATED order. Because of this error, if I make a slight change to any flight in the list, that flight becomes number one on the list(REASON they are listed in last updated order which I can't change).
Don't tell me it can't be done! Because, when I make a change to any flight and save the changes, the list if flights I get is IN ALPHABETIC ORDER BY FLIGHT NAME. That means there is an algorithm available that is not being used (3.0)

| The deluxe edition is well worth the price for the SDK which allows customization by adding objects to your scenery. Abacus has a free download to place objects in your scenery which is great and easy to use. Even a novice like me can do it. The SDK is not available on the download version so you need to purchase the boxed edition. |

| This is a great flight simulator very detailed. Comes with great aircraft and with many goods missions. One problem is it's memory. I takes up so much memory on your comuter. Unless you have a really fast computer it's going to run slowly. |

| Works good, fairly realistic depending on settings, could have better control screens. Excellent buy for money spent. You can spend many hours practicing landings, approaches, etc. This is really not a game, but a serious training tool for people interested in becoming pilots, or for pilots to sharpen their skills. |
